SIM touch won our first match against ITE despite having only half the team playing an actual match for the first time. It certainly was a good experience although I know we can do much better! Navy touch competition coming up soon!

Happy New Year!! My 2008 resolution is to grow fatter =D

I had been busy last december celebrating birthday parties and wedding!

As it was my cousin's wedding, I got to attend every single minute and it was so FUN! Morning was the best - putting tomatoes on the groom's eyes and singing a chinese song, desperating giving up everything he got in his wallet to get through her door.

I helped out in tying 100 out of 800 blue ribbons and I was happy to be involved in the pre-wedding preperation.

wedding car - love the flowers

Newly weds - the gorgeous bride's my cousin =)

pretty Valerie - flowergirl

handmade 3-tier wedding cake (it took the baker 3 weeks)

The church ceremony was held at St Andrew's Cathedral and dinner was at Bistro Bar. Both served superb food! That was the first time I ordered drinks from the bar free. Desert wine's my favourite!

Just finish watching ANTM! I love that show. It was the finale of season 8. I was hoping of Reene would win because I think she's really gorgeous but the judges said she looked old and Jaslene won.

Today was busy with cleaning my room in the morning, lessons in the afternoon and movie in the evening. A big thankyou to my mum and my maid for cleaning the house. It was the second time I watched Enchanted. I think the movie's very nice, (humurous and touching).

Now for some outdated post.
Last sunday was Mr Rozells' wedding!

Wedding Invitation

I received a message followed by a wedding invitation card on the first week of December.

Church of Saint Peters & Paul

At 8am, Huili messenged me saying she couldn't make and so I met up with Alicia. It was my second time at a catholic church wedding. We were one of the first to arrive at the beautiful church. We were looking for some familiar faces when we saw Francine.

Wedding car

Soon after, the couple arrived on a London taxi! Mr Rozells was so nervous. His hands were shaky when I congratulated him.

The newly weds

After the one and a half ceremony, they were pronounced as Mr and Mrs Mark Rozells. I liked the last song 'Power of Your Love'.

Alicia, Shavonne, Michelle

We proceeded to the Singapore Arts Museum just behind the church for the buffet lunch. Here are the first batch of touch rugby girls who were present. Ai Xuan left after the ceremony. Only 4 out of 20plus )=

The girls with Mr Rozells

I didn't know what to give Mr Rozells so I gave him an ang bao. His two elder brothers look like him, especially one of them. Its hard to describe haha! Too bad I don't have their photos. A few SRJC's teachers were there to help out including Mr Lim TS, Mr Adrain Pang and Ms Thammy Thiang.

Michelle, Shavonne

After the wedding, the three of us decided to hang out at clarke quay. We window shopped at the Central.

Then it was enjoying the breeze along the Singapore River. We spent our next two hours at Minds Cafe playing games. Its similar to the Settlers Cafe but Michelle claimed that Minds Cafe was better. It was fun as it has been long since I played board/card games.

Touch rugby training on wednesday was bad. Only half the girl's team went as it was raining. Although it was pouring non-stop, the guys didn't let us off. Before I dashed into the rain, I asked my frewn, "Can you tell me why am I here?" Initially, I thought that by running around, I wouldn't feel so cold. After half an hour, I was shivering under the rain. My team mates told me that my lips were purple and that I should take a break under the shelter. Thankfully, Raquel lended me her windbreaker and Chups bought me warm milo from Mac nearby. I was stuck under the endless downpour till seven-thirty before drying myself up. I too had Cindy's company under the shelter as she was feeling unwell too. She happened to be my senior and so we went on chattering (: We really have very tough competition coming on so I really hope we will train hard not to get thrashed?
